Our 24th symposium in Recklinghausen provided us with two intensive days of lively discussion, new ideas and inspiring encounters centred on Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP).
Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who helped organise this symposium.
We would like to give special mention to the program committee including the host clinic in Recklinghausen, Prof. Stephan Klebe, as well as Prof. Christel Depienne (Essen), Prof. Filippo Santorelli (Pisa), Prof. Jonas Alex Morales Saute (Porto Alegre) and Prof. Rebecca Schüle (Heidelberg).
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all the speakers who spared no effort in travelling from afar to share their insights and engage in discussion.
Together with all participants, we are committed to the well-being of people with HSP.
We are particularly delighted with the fantastic feedback and would like to present a few statements here:
Thank you once again for a great conference, and for the wonderful opportunity you gave us to present our current PhD work.
In these times, events like this really remind us that borders do not exist and that science is a world without barriers!
Once again, it was the best resource on HSP available anywhere.
It was a pleasure to participate and a great opportunity to meet HSP researchers.
It was my first time at this symposium, and I want also to thank you for the organization and the depth of the presentations, which inspired me greatly!
That was an excellent meeting, with high-level scientific conferences and interesting discussions. Your symposia are always stimulating and a great source of inspiration!
The symposium has once again shown us how important international cooperation, exchange and shared commitment are to advancing research and creating new prospects for people with HSP.
It is a matter close to our hearts to carry on in exactly the same way!
Without the many donations we receive throughout the year, we would not be able to organise this unique networking event for HSP research.
Every penny helps us to bring together experts in the field of HSP research.
So a very special thank you to everyone who, when they think of us and hear about our work, is also willing to make a donation!
