The TWS Poster Prize

For several years now, the TWS has been offering students the opportunity to present their initial work on HSP research as posters at the annual TWS Symposium.

A joint tour of the poster exhibition featuring all participants is a regular feature of the programme during the international meeting.

In the run-up to the meeting, the programme committee selects up to four posters for 15-minute flash talks, allowing students to give short presentations on their posters and answer questions.

Everyone present at the venue can evaluate the posters using an evaluation form. At the end of the meeting, the three best posters are awarded prizes. The winners will each receive €300 in prize money.

Registration for a poster presentation is done via the symposium registration.

The Poster Prize Sponsorships

Since the 2026 symposium, the poster prizes have been sponsored by poster sponsors. In this way, we aim to increase mutual visibility between early-career researchers and people with HSP, and to strengthen mutual awareness.

We ask poster sponsors to provide a statement and a photo for presentation at the symposium and for further publication on our channels. In their statement, they can describe their situation, express their hopes and wishes to researchers and scientists, and also motivate others to support HSP research through donations.

People affected by HSP, as well as their friends, colleagues and acquaintances, are welcome to contact us by email at susanne.wahlig@hsp-info.de if they are interested in sponsoring a poster for a value of 300 euros.
