At the university hospital of Mainz we are testing patients and their families whom we know from our HSP consultation hours.

The examination comprises clinical and moleculargenetic characterization of the whole famliy. So we hope to find more knowledge about the correlation between phenotype and genotype.

With thorough anamnesis and clinical examination of all patients we test index patients  electro physiological and neuro radiological and include questions of their quality of life.
