The Tom Wahlig Foundation honors young scientists and researchers with its TWS Research Award.

The deadline for submitting project proposals will be announced here.

Based on the recommendation of a panel of experts, which includes previous recipients, the TWS Board of Trustees decides which project will receive €10,000 to €15,000 in funding. An initial presentation of the funded project will take place at the annual TWS Symposium in March.

In order to give people affected by HSP an insight into the research activities, we expect not only an annual interim report but also a summary written in English and, if possible, German in a way that is understandable to laypeople.
