3rd Advanced Scholarship

 

The Tom Wahlig Foundation was established in 1998 with the aim of bringing together all those concerned with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) and related diseases. We have been successful in promoting research into neuroscience as well as clinical care for HSP patients.

The Foundation is proud to announce for the third time the

TOM WAHLIG ADVANCED SCHOLARSHIP

for research into Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia and related diseases

The sum of €120,000

will be awarded to an exceptional scientist with a proven research record.

Proposals should represent a comprehensive approach focusing on HSP and related diseases etiology and opening up new therapeutic perspectives.

All proposals will be evaluated by a neutral jury consisting of: Prof Jürgen Winkler (Erlangen), Prof Thomas Epplen (Bochum) and Prof Stephan Sigrist (Berlin).

Applicants should submit:

·        a five-page exposé for a three-year research project
·        their full CV
·        a two-page summary of their research record and a list of key publications
