The "inner" reason for Dr Wahlig's action was the disease of his son Henry, who already showed symptoms of HSP during his childhood.

It was Henry's good fortune that he was diagnosed at a very early stage, which was absolutely anormal at that time. Most sufferers were wrongly diagnosed at that time, because the illness was almost unknown.

"I set up the Foundation in order to generate more publicity for HSP.

We try to be the first partners of the sufferers, to protect them from an ‘odyssee‘ of false diagnosis.

We try to give those affected a degree of security and encourage them to have a full and active life despite HSP.
