The second TWS award 2005  was adjudged to two different research projects.

Christel Depienne  from the Paris Hospital "La Pitié- Salpétrière"  was decorated for research about ceratin mutations causing HSP and special herditary HSP forms. See http://jmg.bmj.com/cgi/content/abstract/43/3/259

Dr. Ashraf U. Mannan from the Goettingen Human Genetic Institute was decorated for his publication about the interaction between Reticulon 1 und Spastin.
