Our foundation aims at standardizing the funding activities for research into the hereditary spastic paraplegias (HSPs). Starting in 2018, two or three projects per year will be supported with a total of 25,000 to 35,000 €. The deadline for corresponding applications will be December 1st (December 15th for the upcoming first round). A decision by the foundation´s board will be based on reviews of anonymous experts from the field. Successful applicants will be notified by February 1st, and are expected to shortly present their projects at the annual HSP symposium in March.
