Donations runners ran around 3,000 euros for the TWS

About 3,800 Euro raced on Wednesday, 20 may participants of the traditional barrel of donations at the Institute for sports science of the Leibniz University of Hanover. The purpose of the donations was expanded for the first time in its 10th Edition and titled "A run for people who can no longer run" in addition to Tom Wahlig Foundation donated. Thanks to the active participation of the students on site and the generous support of our friends and supporters in all Germany provided for a new record donation the TWS and achieved at the same time the bulk of the revenue of this run for. Our Foundation is pleased with total revenue amounting to just under 3,000 euros.

Suitable the event for the new purpose of donations was held for the first time included. People with HSP arrived from all over North Germany and laid back the specially designed barrier-free route via hand bike, by wheelchair, stroller or walking. Henry Wahlig, is working as a research assistant at the Institute for sports science in Hanover for many years belonged to these participants. The round of each 'Rollis' was rewarded with 5 euro for the TWS. The triple team 'TWS runner', consisting of the student Annika Salazar, Sven unleashed the lion's share of the TWS revenue Kamal and Philipp Fahrenholz. They covered a total of 57 times the approximately 800 m long track and raced alone that, thanks to the many contributions of our friends and supporters from all over Germany, about 2,000 euro for the TWS.

Founder Tom Wahlig was enthusiastic about the idea of this race: "We are very happy that we could make our Foundation carefully with this run on the concerns and are very pleased that we succeeded, running a piece far to realize the idea of inclusion". The TWS hopes in the coming years with the Leibniz University to advance this initiative.
