During the 16th symposium over 70 participants from all over the world discussed about 11 top-class speeches. In this context Dr. Christian Beetz (Jena, Germany) and Dr. Peter Baas (Philadelphia, USA) received the TWS Advanced Scholarship. Each of them get 60.000 € for their projects.
During the traditional dinner which took place in a restaurant close to the "Deutsche Bergbaumuseum" our patron Christoph Strässer thanked the scientists for their commitment concerning the HSP research.
The symposium was friendly supported by the Fritz Thyssen foundation (Cologne).
